Description & Operation: Taillights: Notes

When the light control switch is turned to the TAIL or HEAD position, the signal is input to terminal No. TAIL of the body ECU. This activates the body ECU to flow the current from the battery into the ALT fuse, taillight relay (coil side), connector B8 terminal No. 7 (TRLY) of the body ECU to ground in that order to turn on the taillight relay. The current flows from the TAIL fuse into the parking lights, front side marker lights, rear side marker lights, license plate lights, terminal No. 3 of the light failure sensor to terminal No. 9 to taillights in that order to turn on each light.
