DRL Without High Intensity Discharge

Through control of the DRL NO. 2 relay, the headlight (high beam) is connected in a series, and the light is lit dimmer than usual.

When the ignition switch is turned to the ON position, and the parking brake pedal is released (parking brake switch off), the current flows from the MAIN fuse to DRL NO. 2 relay (coil side) to connector B5 terminal No. 14 (DRL) of the body ECU to ground, and activates the DRL NO. 2 relay. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . As a result, the current flows to the H-LP L UPR fuse, and flows to terminal No. 2 of the LH headlight (high beam) to terminal No. 1 to terminal No. 1 of the RH headlight (high beam) to terminal No. 2 to terminal No. 2 of the DRL NO. 3 relay to terminal No. 4 to terminal No. 1 of the daytime running light resistor (USA) or short connector (Canada) to terminal No. 2 to ground.
