Vehicle Height Control Sensor

- Connect 3 dry batteries of 1.5 volts in series. See Fig 1.
- Disconnect vehicle height control sensor 3-pin connector. Connect terminal SHB to the batteries' positive (+) terminal, and terminal SHG to the batteries' negative (-) terminal, apply about 4.5 volts between terminals SHB - SHG. See Fig 1.
- Check the output voltage of terminals No. SHRR and SHG. See INSPECTING VEHICLE HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR VOLTAGE table.INSPECTING VEHICLE HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR VOLTAGE
Terminals Condition Standard Value SHRR - SHG + 45° 4.1 Volts SHRR - SHG Normal Position 2.25 Volts SHRR - SHG - 45° 0.5 Volt
NOTE:
Do not apply voltage of 6 volts or more to terminals.
