Door Courtesy Switch (Front & Rear)

- Inspect the appropriate door courtesy switch (front or rear).
- Check that continuity exists between terminals No. 1 and 2 with the door lock open. See CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION .
- Check that no continuity exists between terminals No. 1 and 2 with the door lock closed. If operation is not as specified, replace the door lock. See appropriate POWER DOOR LOCKS & LIFTGATE RELEASE article under DOOR LOCKS & ANTI-THEFT SYSTEMS in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT.
