Test No. 34: Indicator Lights (Except Turn, High Beam & Security) Do Not Light Up

  1. Check GAUGE No. 1 (10-amp) fuse in driver side junction block located under left side of instrument panel. See Figure. If fuse is okay, go to next step. If fuse is defective, repair short in wiring to fuse. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER in SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS article. After repairs have been made, perform confirmation test. See CONFIRMATION TEST .
  2. Check and repair wiring harness and connectors between suspect indicator light and component responsible for activating the specific indicator light. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER in SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS article. After repairs have been made, perform confirmation test. See CONFIRMATION TEST .
