Brake Actuator Assembly: Removal

  1. Remove right front wheel and right front fender liner.
  2. Remove PS gear tube clamp bolt. See Fig 1.
  3. Disconnect engine coolant reservoir, slide upward and remove from bracket.
  4. Disconnect harness connectors and brake hose from brake actuator assembly. See Fig 2.
  5. Using special tool (09751-36011), disconnect brake lines from actuator. Use tags or make a note to identify positions to reconnect brake lines. See Fig 3.
  6. Remove bolts, nut and brake actuator assembly. See Fig 4.
  7. Remove nuts and brake actuator from actuator bracket. Remove holders and 3 cushions from brake actuator.
