Moon Roof Housing Sub-Assembly: Removal

- Remove the roof headlining assembly. See ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY .
- Using a screwdriver, remove the RH and LH moon roof guide rail covers. See Fig 1.
- Using a screwdriver, remove the RH and LH moon roof side garnishes. See Fig 2.
- Using a Torx wrench (T25), remove the 4 screws and moon roof glass.
- Remove the moon roof weatherstrip.
- Remove the moon roof drive gear by removing the 2 bolts and disconnecting the clamp.
- Remove the moon roof housing by disconnecting the 4 drain hoses from the housing and removing the 6 nuts and 8 bolts. See Fig 3.
- Remove the sun shade trim by removing the screw and stopper.
