Moon Roof Housing Sub-Assembly: Installation

NOTE:
For installation, reverse removal procedure except where noted below.
- Adjust the fully closed position. By using a screwdriver which tip is taped around, make the drive cable of the moon roof slide to align the matchmaker. See Fig 1.
- Install the moon roof glass. Check for a difference (corner of rear side: -0.059-0.059" (-1.5-1.5 mm ) in level between the moon roof (weatherstrip) and roof panel. See Fig 2. Check for a difference (the clearance should be thoroughly even) in level between the moon roof (glass) and roof panel. See Fig 3. Adjust the roof panel by using a torque driver T25, loosen a screw to adjust the moon roof panel position. When adjustment is done, tighten the screw there.
- To reset the zero point for moon roof by pushing and holding the switch on the TILT UP side until the moon roof tilts all the way up and down a little automatically.
- Adjust the moon roof, check that there is no water leaks. In case of a water leak, readjust the moon roof.
NOTE:
When the battery negative (-) terminal is disconnected due to the repair, the moon roof position memory is erased. After reconnecting the battery negative (-) terminal, make sure to reset the zero point. If the reset is not performed, the moon roof automatic operation will not function.
