Turn Signal Flasher

- Disconnect turn signal flasher connector. Check the turn signal flasher circuit for voltage or continuity as specified. See CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION and MEASURING TURN SIGNAL FLASHER CIRCUIT CONTINUITY & VOLTAGE
table. Repair wiring as necessary. If voltage and continuity is as specified, go to next step.MEASURING TURN SIGNAL FLASHER CIRCUIT CONTINUITY & VOLTAGE
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 7 & Ground Constant Continuity 1 & Ground Ignition Switch ON Battery Positive Voltage 1 & Ground Ignition Switch OFF No Voltage 4 & Ground Constant Battery Positive Voltage - Ensure ignition is off. Reconnect turn signal flasher connector. Check the wire harness side connector from the back side for voltage as specified. See MEASURING TURN SIGNAL FLASHER WIRE HARNESS VOLTAGE table.
