Outside Rear View Mirror Assembly: Removal

- Using a screwdriver, remove the power window regulator master switch assembly then disconnect the connector. See Fig 1.
- Using a screwdriver, remove the front door lower frame bracket garnish. See Fig 2.
- Using a screwdriver, remove front door inside handle bezel plug. See Fig 3.
- Remove the 2 screws. Using a screwdriver, remove front door trim board sub-assembly. See Fig 4. Remove the inside handle then disconnect the 2 cables from the front door lock assembly. Disconnect the connector.
- On vehicles without memory, remove the outside rear view mirror sub-assembly.
- Disconnect the wiring harness of terminals No. 4 and 5 from the connector. See Fig 5. Using a screwdriver to hold the connector lance up, pull out the wiring harness terminal.
- Tape the outside rear view mirror body with protection tape.
- Using a roof molding remover, disengage the clips placed in the lower part of the mirror. See Fig 6.
- Pull out the outside rear view mirror.
- On vehicles with memory, remove the outside rear view mirror sub-assembly.
- Disconnect the wiring harness of terminals No. 3 and 9 from the connector. See Fig 7. Using a screwdriver to hold the connector lance up, pull out the wiring harness terminal.
- Tape the outside rear view mirror body with protection tape.
- Using a roof molding remover, disengage the clips placed in the lower part of the mirror. See Fig 6.
- Pull out the outside rear view mirror.
