Removal & Installation (Tacoma & Tundra 3.4L)

- Crankshaft position sensor is located at front of engine, just above crankshaft pulley. See Fig 1. Remove lower engine cover if necessary for access to crankshaft position sensor.
- Disconnect electrical connector at crankshaft position sensor. Remove bolt and crankshaft position sensor.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
