Removal & Installation (Land Cruiser, Sequoia, Tundra 4.7L & 4Runner 4.7L)

  1. Crankshaft position sensor is located at front of crankshaft, near crankshaft pulley. See Fig 1.
  2. Remove lower engine cover for access to crankshaft position sensor.
  3. Disconnect electrical connector at crankshaft position sensor. Remove bolt and crankshaft position sensor.
  4. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
