Removal (Tacoma & Tundra 3.4L)

  1. Drain cooling system.
  2. Remove air cleaner hose located between air cleaner and throttle body.
  3. Disconnect control cables, air assist hoses, coolant hoses, vacuum hoses and electrical connectors at throttle body.
  4. Remove bolts/nuts, throttle body and gasket.
  5. On Tacoma models equipped without ETCS-i, remove bolts, Idle Air Control (IAC) valve and gasket from bottom of throttle body (if necessary).
