Removal (Land Cruiser)

- Drain cooling system.
- Remove intake manifold cover located on top of engine, above intake manifold.
- Remove air intake hose with intake air connector located between throttle body and air cleaner assembly.
- Disconnect electrical connectors at throttle body.
- Disconnect PCV and coolant by-pass hoses at throttle body and remove ventilation cap from throttle body. See Fig 1.
- Remove bolts/nuts and disconnect throttle body from intake manifold.
- Disconnect remaining coolant by-pass hose from bottom of throttle body. Remove throttle body and gasket.
