Removal (4Runner 4.0L)

- Drain cooling system.
- Remove "V" bank cover.
- Remove air cleaner assembly and air cleaner hose located between air cleaner and throttle body. See Fig 1.
- Remove necessary water by-pass hose.
- Disconnect electrical connector from throttle motor.
- Remove 4 bolts, throttle body with throttle control motor and gasket.
