Removal & Installation (4Runner 4.0L)

Power steering pressure switch is screwed into top of vane pump assembly. Disconnect electrical connector at power steering pressure switch. Remove power steering pressure switch. See Fig 1.
To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten power steering pressure switch to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
Fill power steering pump with Dexron-III ATF.
