Removal (Sequoia, Tacoma, Tundra & 4Runner)

- The Park/Neutral Position (PNP) switch is located on passenger's side of transmission. See Figure. Remove necessary components and disconnect oil cooler lines (if necessary) for access to PNP switch. See Figure.
- Disconnect electrical connector at PNP switch.
- Bend tabs upward on lock plate, away from PNP switch retaining nut.
- Remove PNP switch retaining nut, lock plate, PNP switch retaining bolt and PNP switch.
