Removal (Land Cruiser)

- The Park/Neutral Position (PNP) switch is located on passenger's side of transmission. See Figure. Remove necessary components for access to PNP switch.
- Disconnect electrical connector at PNP switch.
- Disconnect shift linkage from control lever on transmission for access to PNP switch.
- Remove nut and control lever from transmission.
- Bend tabs upward on lock plate, away from PNP switch retaining nut. Remove PNP switch retaining nut, lock plate, PNP switch retaining bolt and PNP switch.
