Removal (Camry (Up To Jan. 2003 Production) & Camry Solara)

NOTE: Following procedure is applicable up to January 2003 production of Camry models.

Disconnect vacuum hose at actuator on intake air control valve located on end of air intake chamber. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 .
Remove ground straps from intake air control valve.
Remove remaining nuts for intake air control valve.
Remove intake air control valve by prying between air intake chamber and intake air control valve. See Figure. Remove gasket.
