Removal & Installation (RAV4)

  1. Remove upper cap on air cleaner assembly for access to ignition coil.
  2. Disconnect electrical connector at ignition coil mounted on valve cover.
  3. Note location of ignition coil for installation reference. Remove ignition coil bolt and ignition coil from valve cover.
  4. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten ignition coil bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
