Removal & Installation (Prius)

- Crankshaft position sensor is located on front of engine, near crankshaft pulley. See Figure.
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Remove passenger's side lower engine cover.
- Disconnect electrical connector for crankshaft position sensor. Remove bolt and crankshaft position sensor.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten crankshaft position sensor bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
