Removal & Installation (Camry, Camry Solara & Highlander)

- Crankshaft position sensor is located on side of timing chain cover. See Fig 1.
- Remove necessary components for access to crankshaft position sensor.
- Disconnect electrical connector for crankshaft position sensor. Remove bolt and crankshaft position sensor.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten crankshaft position sensor bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
