Removal & Installation (Camry, Camry Solara & Highlander)

  1. Crankshaft position sensor is located on side of timing chain cover. See Fig 1.
  2. Remove necessary components for access to crankshaft position sensor.
  3. Disconnect electrical connector for crankshaft position sensor. Remove bolt and crankshaft position sensor.
  4. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten crankshaft position sensor bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
