Removal & Installation (Camry & Highlander)

  1. Remove battery and air cleaner assembly.
  2. Disconnect NT vehicle speed sensor connector. See Fig 1 or Fig 2 .
  3. Disconnect NC vehicle speed sensor connector. See Fig 3 or Fig 4 .
  4. Remove bolts on both speed sensors to remove sensors from transaxle. Remove and discard "O" rings.
  5. When proceeding to install, coat NEW "O" rings with ATF and install on transaxle. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  6. Connect appropriate sensor connectors to appropriate sensors. See Fig 1-Fig 4 .
