Removal & Installation (ECHO)

- Drain cooling system.
- Remove No. 2 cylinder head cover located on top of engine, above ignition coils and valve cover.
- Remove air cleaner assembly for access to Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor. See ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR LOCATION table.
- Disconnect electrical connector at ECT sensor and remove ECT sensor and gasket.
- To install, reverse removal procedure using NEW gasket. Fill cooling system.
