- Ensure ignition is off. Remove fuel pump relay from fuse/relay box at driver's side front corner of engine compartment. See Figure, Figure, Figure and Figure
- To test fuel pump relay continuity, using ohmmeter, check for continuity and no continuity between specified terminals on fuel pump relay. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 .
- To test fuel pump relay operation, apply battery voltage and ground to fuel pump relay and use ohmmeter to check for continuity between specified terminals on fuel pump relay. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 . Replace fuel pump relay if defective.
