Diagnosis & Repair

Check thermostat and replace if necessary. Using Toyota hand-held tester or scan tool, check for DTCs other than DTC P0128. If any other DTCs are set, troubleshoot them first. If no other DTCs are set, replace ECM. For ECM location, see Figure. For ECM connector view, see Figure.
