Removal (ES300)

- To remove air control valve assembly No. 1, disconnect negative battery cable. Drain coolant. Remove air cleaner cap with air cleaner hose. Remove front suspension upper center brace. Remove throttle body assembly. See THROTTLE BODY under FUEL SYSTEM. Remove intake air control valve assembly. Disconnect vacuum hoses. See Figure. Remove bolt. See Figure. Remove 4 bolts and nut. See Figure. Remove intake air control valve.
- To remove intake air control valve assembly No. 2, disconnect vacuum hose. Remove 3 bolts and nut. Rotate lever to closed position and pull out intake air control valve No. 2. See Figure.
