Inspection Procedure

Is DTC output for ECM?
Check DTC. See SELF-DIAGNOSTICS .
1. YES: Repair engine control system according to the output code .
2. NO: Go to next step .
Check the DTC for the ABS and VSC. See steps b - d under PRE-CHECK.
1. Output NG code except for DTC of VSC system 42 :
  1. Repair ABS and VSC control system according to the code output .
2. Output NG code DTC of VSC system 42 only :
  1. Check and replace Translate ECU .
