Inspection Procedure

Check operation of ABS & VSC actuator pump motor .
Disconnect the connector from the ABS & VSC actuator.

Connect positive (+) lead to terminal 6 and negative (-) lead to terminal 5 of the ABS & VSC actuator, check that the pump motor is operated.

OK: The running sound of the pump motor should be heard .
1. OK: Go to next step .
2. NG: Replace ABS & VSC actuator .
Check for open circuit in harness and connector between ABS MTR relay, ABS & VSC actuator and ECU. See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE .
1. OK: Check and replace Skid Control ECU .
2. NG: Repair or replace harness or connector .
