Inspection Procedure

Check parking brake switch circuit. See step 15 of INSPECTION .
1. OK: Go to next step .
2. NG: Repair or replace parking brake switch circuit .
Check brake fluid level warning switch circuit. See step 14 of INSPECTION .
1. OK: Go to next step .
2. NG: Repair or replace brake fluid level warning switch circuit .
Is DTC output ?
1. YES: Repair circuit indicated by the output code .
2. No: Go to next step .
Check BRAKE warning light .
See combination meter troubleshooting. See TROUBLESHOOTING .
1. OK: Go to next step .
2. NG: Repair or replace bulb or combination meter .
Check for open or short circuit in harness and connector between combination meter and Skid Control ECU. See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE .
1. OK: Check and replace Skid Control ECU .
2. NG: Repair or replace harness or connector .
