Removal (Except Prius)

  1. On Avalon, Camry and Camry Solara, remove air cleaner with hose. On Celica, remove left front wheel.
  2. On all models, remove master cylinder. See MASTER CYLINDER . On Camry, remove charcoal canister. On ECHO, remove air cleaner assembly and ABS actuator. On all models, disconnect vacuum hose from brake booster.
  3. On Avalon, remove lower No. 1 instrument panel, lower LH instrument panel insert and No. 2 heater to register duct. On Camry Solara, remove cowl side trim, No. 1 lower panel and insert. Remove 2 nuts and cruise control ECU. On Celica with ABS, remove ABS actuator assembly. Disconnect brakeline from flexible hose. Remove front left brakeline with grommet from body. Remove No. 1 panel and finish panel.
  4. On all models, remove pedal spring, clip, clevis pin, 4 nuts and clevis. On Corolla, remove wave washer. On all models, remove brake booster and gasket.
