Torque Converter Lock-Up

Road test vehicle. Increase vehicle speed until lock-up should occur. To confirm lock-up operation, very lightly depress brake pedal with left foot and release while maintaining constant speed. Monitor vehicle tachometer. Transaxle should downshift into 3rd gear and then upshift into lock-up once brake pedal is released. Ensure lock-up speeds are within specification.
