Removal (Prius)
WARNING:
On Prius, read service precautions before proceeding with service procedure. See SERVICE PRECAUTIONS .
- Depress brake pedal 40 times. Remove fluid from reservoir. Remove outer cowl top panel. Disconnect fluid level switch connector. Remove 2 reservoir mounting bolts. Disconnect 3 hoses from reservoir and remove reservoir and hoses. Remove reservoir bracket. Disconnect air conditioning fluid and suction lines.
- Disconnect right front brake line from flex hose. Pull out brake line from body. Disconnect brake line from booster. Disconnect 2 booster electrical connectors. Remove booster clamp, clamp bracket and attaching bolts. Release wiring harness. Remove 3 booster attaching bolts. Remove booster.
