Removal & Installation (Tundra)

  1. Drain differential oil. Disconnect rear drive shaft. Remove drive shaft companion flange bolts and nuts, and separate drive shaft from differential assembly. Remove oil seal. Remove front bearing from drive pinion. Remove 2 washers and bearing spacer.
  2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure NEW bearing spacer and oil seal are installed. Tighten bolts and nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Fill differential with gear oil.
