Fuel Sending Unit Resistance

  1. Turn ignition off. Remove fuel sending unit from fuel tank. Connect ohmmeter between fuel sending unit terminals No. 2 and 3. See Figure.
  2. Move fuel sender arm and ensure resistance is as specified. See FUEL SENDING UNIT RESISTANCE  table. If resistance is not as specified, replace fuel sending unit.
