Removal & Installation (Previa, Tacoma 2WD & T100 2WD)

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove front wheel. On Previa, install 2 lug nuts to hold rotor in place. On other 2 models, remove lower caliper bolt. Rotate caliper upward. Suspend caliper aside with wire.
  2. On Previa, remove anti-squeal springs, pads, anti-squeal shims and pad support plates. See Fig 1.
  3. On Tacoma, remove pads, 4 anti-squeal shims, pad wear indicators and 4 pad support plates. See Fig 2.
  4. On T100, remove 2 anti-squeal springs, pads, 2 anti-squeal shims (1 ton), 4 anti-squeal shims (1/2 ton), 2 pad wear indicators and 4 pad support plates. See Fig 2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten lower caliper bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Check reservoir fluid level.
