Removal & Installation (Tacoma 2WD & T100 2WD)

  1. Remove caliper assembly with hose connected. Support caliper from frame with wire. Remove torque plate from knuckle.
  2. On Tacoma 2WD, remove grease cap, cotter pin and lock cap. Remove hub nut. Remove claw washer, outer bearing and rotor with hub assembly.
  3. On T100 2WD, remove cap, cotter pin, and lock cap. Remove hub nut. Remove hub assembly with rotor with outer bearing.
  4. Place alignment marks on rotor and hub for reassembly reference. Remove retaining bolts, and separate hub from rotor. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Adjust wheel bearings. See appropriate article in SUSPENSION. Tighten all bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
