Axle Beam: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure, leaving axle beam-to-body bolts and strut bolts loose. Lower vehicle. Bounce vehicle several times to settle suspension.
  2. Tighten all fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Fill and bleed brake system. Adjust wheel bearings. See WHEEL BEARING ADJUSTMENT under ADJUSTMENTS & INSPECTION .
