Tacoma 2WD All Models & 4WD Regular Cab, & T100 2WD 1/2 Ton
- Remove EGR gas temperature sensor. EGR gas temperature sensor is screwed into side of EGR valve.
- Place threaded end of EGR gas temperature sensor and thermometer in container of oil. Attach ohmmeter between electrical terminals on EGR gas temperature sensor.
- Heat oil and note resistance at specified temperature. See EGR GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR RESISTANCE table. Replace EGR gas temperature sensor if resistance is not within specification. Reinstall EGR gas temperature sensor.
