DTC 33: Left-Side Air Bag Sensor Assembly Malfunction: Description

The side air bag sensor assembly consists of a safing sensor, diagnosis circuit and lateral deceleration sensor. The side air bag sensor assembly receives signals from lateral deceleration sensor, judges whether or not the air bag must be deployed and detects diagnosis system malfunction.
