Air Bag Warning Light Check

Turn ignition switch to ACC or ON position. If AIR BAG warning comes on for about 6 seconds and then goes off, system is functioning properly. If AIR BAG warning light comes on and does not go off or flashes, Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is stored in air bag sensor assembly memory. Proceed to RETRIEVING CODES . If AIR BAG warning light responds in any other way, go to DIAGNOSTIC TESTS .
