Removal & Installation (Avalon, Camry & Sienna)

  1. Power steering pressure switch is screwed into end of union bolt that secures the pressure hose on power steering pump. Disconnect electrical connector at power steering pressure switch. Remove power steering pressure switch.
  2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten power steering pressure switch to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Fill power steering pump with Dexron-III ATF.
