Water Pump: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Drain cooling system. Remove timing belt, camshaft sprockets and No. 2 idler pulley. See TIMING BELT .
  2. Remove No. 3 timing belt cover. See Figure. Remove bolts/nuts, water pump and gasket.
