Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal: Installation

  1. Ensure all sealing surfaces are clean. Apply grease to seal lip of oil seal. Using Oil Seal Installer (SST 09223-15030), install oil seal in crankshaft rear oil seal housing until oil seal is even with housing surface.
  2. Apply Loctite to drive plate bolts. Install and tighten bolts to specification in a crisscross pattern. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To install remaining components, reverse removal procedure.
