Removal (Celica)
- Close sun roof. Turn ignition off. On liftback models, remove rear package tray trim panel, luggage compartment mat and rear deck trim cover. On Coupe models, remove rear package tray brakelight and rear package tray trim panel. Remove rear speaker grilles and quarter trim panels.
- On all models, remove rear seat back and seat cushion. Remove sun roof trim panels. Remove sun roof glass mounting nuts and shims. Pull upward on sun roof glass and remove.
- Remove headliner. Remove sun roof control relay. See Figure. Remove sun roof motor. Remove drip channel. Remove wind deflector. Remove sun roof housing assembly.
