Installation (Avalon)

NOTE: To ensure proper operation of sun roof, ensure drive cable is in closed position and sun roof drive motor marks are aligned.

If sun roof housing was disassembled, adjust drive cable to a fully closed and tilted down position. Slide cable forward or backwards to align marks. See Fig 3. Prior to installing drive motor, remove cam plate cover from drive motor. See Fig 4. Turn drive gear until marks align, indicating a fully closed position. Reinstall cam plate cover. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
