Recommended Fluid
CAUTION:
As per Toyota TSB TC003-99, dated May 21, 1999, ATF Type T-IV now replaces other Type T fluids. Only ATF Type T can be mixed with Type T-IV fluid. ATF Type T-II and Type T-IV fluids must NOT be mixed. To prevent damage to transmission, determine which fluid type has been used.
For recommend fluid and transmission refill capacity, refer to the FLUID APPLICATION table. For fluid capacity, refer to the TRANSMISSION REFILL CAPACITIES table under FLUID CAPACITIES.
