Axle Beam: Removal
- Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheels. Remove left and right axle hubs. Remove left and right brake shoes. Disconnect parking brake cable from backing plate.
- Disconnect and remove brake lines at wheel cylinders and flexible hose junction. Plug openings. Remove clip, and detach flexible hose from bracket on axle beam. Remove backing plate.
- Disconnect lateral control rod and strut from axle beam. Support axle beam. Remove axle beam-to-body bolts. Remove axle beam.
