Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal: Removal

Remove transaxle, clutch assembly (if equipped) and flywheel/drive plate. Using a knife, cut off seal lip. Pry oil seal from rear oil seal retainer on cylinder block. DO NOT  damage sealing surfaces.
