Hazard Warning Switch

  1. Hazard warning switch is mounted to instrument cluster finish panel, to right of steering column. Remove 2 screws retaining hood release lever. Remove 2 plastic screw covers, and all retaining screws and bolts from instrument panel lower finish panel. See Figure.
  2. Pull instrument panel lower finish panel away from left upper corner retaining clip. Remove steering column covers. Unplug harness connectors and remove combination switch from steering column.
  3. Remove 2 screws from instrument cluster finish panel. Pull cluster finish panel away from 3 retaining clips just enough to disconnect electrical connectors on rear of panel. Remove panel.
  4. After instrument cluster finish panel has been removed, disconnect hazard switch connector and remove switch from panel. To install, reverse removal procedure.
